PROGRAM OF STUDY FOR THE SPECIALIST IN COMMUNITY COLLEGE TEACHING


The 60 graduate hours, including the Master’s degree, which are required for the Specialist in Community College Teaching degree include the following:

Teaching Fields 

39 Semester Hours

Community College Core 

12 Semester Hours

Teaching Core 

9 Semester Hours

A detailed description of this program, along with specific degree requirements, is presented in the Specialist in Education Degree program.

Minimum hours required for this program: 30 plus a master's degree
