II. Text: Nursery Management Administration and Culture by H. Davidson, R. Mecklenburg and C. Peterson; 4^th Edition (recommended, but not required)

III. Lecture/Labs: Each of you will be responsible for all materials covered in lecture notes, assigned reading material, and online class handouts. Projects, reports, and papers, etc, will be given when deemed necessary.

IV. Examinations/Quizzes: There will be four (4) exams and nine (9) quizzes given during the semester. Tentative dates are listed on the class outline.

Grading: Your grade will be based on your exams, class assignments, reading assignments, reports and class attendance. The undergraduate grading scale will be 100-90% (A), 89-80% (B), 79-70% (C), 69-60% (D) and below 60% (F).

*****NO MAKE-UP EXAMS OR QUIZZES WILL BE ALLOWED. All assignments are due on the date posted by the instructor, otherwise deductions will be made for assignments handed in late. The Academic Integrity Policy from the Arkansas State University Student's Handbook will be enforced (pg. 25-26).

VII. Course Objectives and Topics: This course is designed to familiarize students with effective nursery crop production/management; site selection, layout, regulations, production scheme, environmental effects, cultural and technical requirements, labor and equipment, marketing and administration.
